Thank you.  I already know this process.  When I create another new admin account and log in with it, I cannot see all my family photos nether the other admin business relationship contour.

I get a new profile with empty document, music and photo folders.

"I get a new profile with empty certificate, music and photo folders."

You would, because this is some other User business relationship regardless of beingness an admin business relationship.

The main deviation with an Admin account is the user has more control over the system, but not necessarily

another persons account.
- I believe you yet have to give permission/share your photo/music folder, or your whole User binder if you wish,

as you would if networking between ii machines, or when allowing sharing between your account

and other standard accounts.

I am not sure how to assign rights to my folders.

It feels similar this is more difficult that it has to exist.  I am thinking this has to exist a common employ case.  Nosotros have a family computer.  I need more that 1 person to exist able to log onto it and see nonetheless files, in this case, its all our photos.

What is the best way to achieve this.

Thanks!

You have expanded on your original post. Family, not just the missus ?

If it's merely the two of you and no objection to the missus using the aforementioned account (and vice versa) ?

Works for me. No duplication of files, no stuffing effectually with sharing.

- As a one account user, I haven't played with it, but you could motility your music and photos into the

Public account folder, which should be attainable to both User accounts. Give this a go with a couple

of photos to verify.

- Kids, well you don't want them stuffing effectually with settings and installing and uninstalling software

without blessing, and then you would even so need to setup basic accounts for them.

- Which gets united states of america dorsum to sharing. Non all that complicated, but worthy of a tutorial.

(the office you are interested in is well-nigh the bottom - simply before, Zip information technology upward)
